Don’t wanna start posting here from criticism, this site is somewhere better, somewhere worse comparing to the old one, so I think we could start a thread where ppl can express their opinion what they like and what they dont.
Personally I don’t like running news/last forum posts. IMHO it looks ok only for made for 5 minutes homepage of a week ago started to use the internet boy.
Also while I was writing this post I noticed that always flashing “members online” window is very annoying…
I like how we can post pics and have a profile. :P
I agree about the members online thing refreshing too often and flashing when it does is annoying. I think that the scrolling news item was useful when there was only a couple of posts a day, but now, it is just useless info. I don’t like the way the menu’s paint when you mouse over them. But in the long run, I prefer it here rather then the old site.
Time zones are messed up.. I’m EST but setting my profile as EST gives a time 3 hours earlier than what it actually is.. had to set mine to mid-atlantic to get it right :shock:
i’ll agree that the scrolling thingies definantly gotta go.
all in all, I like the site, but I really, truly pity anyone on a dialup connection who has any hopes of finding anything in a reasonable amount of time.

Some free hosts do that to stop people using their bandwidth by inserting angelfire hosted images on non-angelfire hosted websites…

Yeah, especially geocities, it can be a real biatch. Regardless, if you can’t see it, that’s just a shame, don’t know of any other host [or rather, not bothered to find such a host] that would host it :)
