spirit watchers

·326 words·2 mins

A suggestion.. if I have more than one spirit watcher active, it would be helpful if instead of saying:

“Weasel’s homunculus tells you ‘I sense your target is coming, sir.’”

it would instead actually tell you which one of my watchers is telling me that.. maybe by using the name of that particular watcher. I know once the mob repops it will tell you with the message (for example):

“Weasel’s homunculus tells you ‘I’ve found Narmer in House of the Paladin, sir!’”

but you get my point, right?

You can nickname the watchers for that reason.

Even if you nickname them, it still says the same thing. Best luck I’ve had telling them appart was when I happened to change alignments between castings. One was a cherub and the other I don’t recall. Nicknames only help when talking to the watchers, not when listening to them. Generally, if you wait a couple ticks, the question resolves itself when the watcher tells you what it found, but there are times when it’s helpful to know beforehand, such as singing.

exactly.. particularly if you want to hit it when you’re full but you have to relocate to get to it and you can’t do that until you know which mob is about to repop.

Guest, the nicknames do not appear when they are informing you that a mob is near / has repopped.

Glad I didn’t log in then :)

I’m not a newbie! Really!!

I had not even thought about this. Ok, I fixed it so if you

cast ‘spirit watcher’ dave

then you will get

Dave the cherub tells you ‘whatever it is they tell you’

This will go in next crash or reboot, that is, it’s not in yet.

Awesome thanks :)
