Purple potions and vendor list order

·670 words·4 mins

Hello !

May I suggest to fix this annoying feature somehow, please?

The problem is, that new potions that contain “purple” keyword, cost far more that regular Remove Poison ones, being sold to shop - they appear on top of the list and when a player tries to buy a regular purple-potion - he/she buys instead new potion, that is more expensive and not very much needed. Also, checking list first is somewhat complicated, because we must check large list and search ‘purple’ in it, then calculate what we must buy 2. or 3. or 4., not very good.

The ways I see how to fix it, is to rewrite how lists are being arranged so newly sold potions appear on bottom of the list (best way imho), or to somehow rename new potions so they appear after regular “purple-potion”.

Thanks in advance.

While I completely agree to the changes you suggest…

FYI they added the keyword “plain” to the purple potion. So you can always safely buy plain-purple without the aforementioned problem.

Hmmm, didnt know that, ‘plain’ seems to fix the problem. Thanks.
