do mirrors block stabs? or am i missing something here..
You leap out of the shadows and attack!
A gold-robed apprentice hates your guts!
A gold-robed apprentice slowly fades into existence.
A gold-robed apprentice makes a strange sound, as you place a thunderbolt in her back.
A mirror image of a gold-robed apprentice wavers from existence!

yeah…
Splork misunderstood us :)
Instead of stabbing WITH mirrors we are stabbing mirrors
La la lalalala la la la la la….
Smurfy. Do we grip mirrors now too?
I hope not, Monks are more focused….
When you’re attacking a mob that has mirrors, it sucks, but isn’t that what mirrors are supposed to be used for? I’m not much interested in sloth becoming realistic, but I’m all for consistency and things making sense. Saying you could tell the difference between the mob and their images while you were stabbing, but not while you were attacking or blasting made no sense before, and it wasn’t consistent.
I have noticed with the Centaur Warlock for example.. whom i will never stop killing just because he is a stingy popping mofo… that on double backstab, if can shatter 2 of his mirrors, i can flee out, and jump back in, sometimes hitting him again.. of course you need Dcloak, and re-invis.
I don’t think mirror images are supposed to make sense in fighting…if you stab someone in the back or cast fire at him, then wouldn’t he have a nice big bloody hole in the middle of his back or be charred, and his mirrors won’t?
WOW Mal… good point..
Autolycos circles around driving a Rogue’s dagger into Leaf’s Back.
Autolycos removes his dagger from Leaf’s back leaving a big bloody hole..
that would be great! i would pay to see that!!!
I’ll toss another in the realism pot, if anyone wants to add some that will actually make the player’s lives better. Cleric mobs have some wonderful spells like resist fire/cold and spell shield that they can cast in battle and we can’t. Any chance we can stop that?
Correction… apparently you can cast spell shield in battle. I need to start doing that. Color me newbie.
In D&D, mirror images always look like what the caster looks like right now, holes and all. Because they’re, you know, mirrors.

really? shit I didn’t know that either. wonder why we can’t relite ourselves in battle too.
well you can if you use disengage
true, but if you disengage you are no longer in battle, technically speaking. :p
