Ok, I tested this and was able to replicate it.
It occurs when thirst is still over the normal maximum attainable threshold from a previous gorge.
It’s a grey area whether coders will see this as a priority bug. But in any case, it’s tested and confirmed. Thx.
Does it work properly if you puke when you get that message?
Did the PC eat or drink by the normal non gorge method?
iirc it works a bit like a tire. You can fill past Max but you won’t like the result. JB I will email you about the issue later. For now, I am off to bed.
Puking helps, but a) I personally dont like it because it’s disgusting, b) it is not normay way how the eating process supposed to be as I see it. Eating/drinking using commands “eat food / drink decanter” works normally.
At this moment it seems I cant reproduce the situation for 2 days already, either it fixed itself somehow or someone intervened.
No one has done anything, it’s just a rare occurrence because there is plenty of food present usually when you gorge, so your food level is usually higher than your water level. This issue would be more likely to occur if you gorge when there is plenty of water, but not much food, thus raising your water level higher than your food.
I’d say it’s as much a feature as a bug. You can’t gorge if your still bursting at the seems with water. Issue occurs rarely, can be fixed by puking, and by only gorging when there’s plenty of food around. Nothing to fix really, other than user behavior. Unless perhaps u want breeze to add a message that clarifies what the problem is: if thirst>maxThirst then msg_player Your belly is too full of water at the moment. Wait for nature to take its course.
or maybe we add a ‘urinate’ command.. lol.. just kidding..
There’s a way to fix that problem. You can ‘puke’ out the contents
and then try to gorge again. (Don’t worry, you won’t eat your
puke when you gorge.) However, there may be some adverse
affects to forcibly puking a bunch of times, and/or some
proprietors may not like it if you start wretching all over their
homes and businesses. Otherwise, it should empty your
stomach quite effectively.

Yeah, likely you were carrying too much weight.
The bug that does worry me is that if you are equally full/thirsty, a feast doesn’t satiate you equally - you get thirstier earlier. So if you do, as shown above, you’ll need to feast/garden and puke 2 times to be able to gorge again.
I’ve suggested an idea to add a pitcher or two to the feast to solve this, but perhaps you can make gorge work on being thirsty alone.
I don’t see how having us puke out guts out for the possibility of acquiring bulemia is a reasonable way to eat food.

Sometimes ppl feast just for grace, so it’ll force ppl to gorge immediately, also spamming others
Sometimes, they feast for someone else to gorge, so emptying stomachs would force them to feast/garden again.
It seems being able to gorge, while either hungry or thirsty, would be the right thing to do, really.

you can grab food from the ground, as well as the group members, but you did not. Usually this is because your laden.

Nope, still gotta be able to pick it up just like if you were doing it manually. So need to be able to hold it, see it etc..
It seems not being able to pick up things due to overloading of inventory is not the concern. I was able to pick up decent amount of items, and still unable to gorge properly.
