I’ll be thanking our players again this year with another Conditional Love of a Clown Quest.
This year the quest will be as follows. Every day from Dec 26th to Jan 1, I will post a mob, zone, and passphrase to the crier, as a reply to this post. Your job is to find the mob, speak the passphrase, and receive a quest token. If (AND ONLY IF) you collect all 6 personalized quest tokens, you will win your choice of: a metamorphic gemstone (transforms into random gem), 25 drachma, a restring (not a restring token to sell…), or a desocketing of 1 rune.
Terms and Conditions:
As a thank you to our long term players, this quest is only available to players who are at least 3x40 as of Jan 1st. This quest is limited to 1 prize per human player. Anyone participating is subject to an IP address log check as well as a check of known alts. Anyone caught attempting to receive more than 1, will receive no prize and will be fined 25 drachma. Prize is non-transferrable and must be collected no later than January 8th. Prize must be collected from Juggleblood without exception. Quest details may NOT be discussed on open channels (gossip, auction, newbie, shout, or quest).
Would love to participate, as I socketted GYT’s into ashen bracelets a month before the monk bracers were added to the game… :x but a long haul international flight almost guarantees I will miss one of the days, and therefore the whole thing. I’ve been looking forward to this opportunity for some time.
I know each year when there are quests there is some whining when people miss it, but I suspect other players might also find it hard to keep the commitment up for 6 consecutive days at this time of year. Could you do something like, run it for 7 days, and accept 6 tokens… thus giving players more of a chance over what is normally a busy period with family commitments.
