Is 18 the highest a stat can go? I have a 17 str and a black beret that gives +1 str for a total of 18. When I prayed for a holy item that also gives +1 str, I still had an 18. Or is it that the two +1’s don’t stack and I would need an item that gives +2 str to get to 19?
18 is the max a stat can be without maxstat equipment
help maxstat gives more information about getting stats above 18, but suffice to say in the normal run of equipment (i.e. excepting runes {help gem / help rune} and excepting drachma equipment {help drachma} and excepting triple40 equipment {<LINK_TEXT text=“http://www.slothmud.org/index.php?modul … &pageid=16”>http://www.slothmud.org/index.php?module=Pages&func=display&pageid=16</LINK_TEXT>}) 18 is the maximum you’ll get in any stat.
Hope this helps,
T
