Yes, you can’t go back after you level past 20.

Lvl 16 I would just say kill other mobs to get gold. Or thelp subdue …
Making money on Valk is fairly simple. At your level, killing bugbears in Blaster’s temple makes decent coins. The girl who buys subdues in the park is a good place too. There’s a manual for sale in the Valk supply shop on how to get rich quick, it should give you some good ideas to get started.

*kill thugs sell potions…
*go to various citys (BH AH SS) and pick up all the trash that people leave laying around in inns and such like notes etc and sell them
*kill areas like gnolls that pop decent low level eq and sell it.
*mostly explore and find some mobs that you can kill that have decent coins
