Apologies for not knowing where it came from.
Just came back from extended hiatus.
I found this in my inventory but don’t see it on the eq list.
Object ‘silver ring’, Item type: FLOOR
Item is: NOBITS
Weight: 1, Value: 3500gold, Worn in: TAKE FINGER
Can affect you as:
Affects: INT by 1
Only those who are at least novice magic users or novice clerics, or adept
warriors, or apprentice druids, or adept bards, or adept monks may use this
item.
This is extremely old eq, and somehow not showing up on the eqlist. It’s unlikely that it was never identified, I wonder what the issue is, and whether there is other eq with the same issue. Normally items only appear on the eq list after being identified. Teker or Neptune might be able to work it out.
What slot covers object type floor?
The FLOOR thing will be why it’s excluded. Well spotted.
So I’ve got an antique? Neat!
Anyone wanna buy it for an outrageous price?
It is in the list. And its hidden like all other floor type objects.
Any imm with such level of access could fix it.
ps: Gnoll shaman at the Gnoll Stockade loads it, if that matters.
tl;dr this should be fixed
long version : too lazy to write.
