I was wondering how much undead control gear affects necro pets and so I’ve run some tests and got this statistic:
No UC gear (100 wraith)
HP average - 298.5
HP min - 270
HP max - 330
10 UC points (100 wraith)
HP average - 388.1
HP min - 350
HP max - 428
17 UC point (100 wraith)
HP average - 451.989
HP min - 407
HP max - 498
No UC gear (50 banshees)
HP average - 303.66
HP min - 273
HP max - 333
10 UC points (50 banshees)
HP average - 400.68
HP min - 358
HP max - 432
17 UC point (50 banshees)
HP average - 455.5
HP min - 412
HP max - 502
And here’s my thoughts about it:
1 UC point adds 3% of max hps to a pet (increase it to 4-5% ?)
Deviation between min/max HPs is too big and because its % dependand it grows up with more UC points u have (lower it ?)
Masterfull cast does nothing to pet HPs, maybe pets live longer, but I doubt it (add some effect from masterfull cast, more hp/tohit+dam/pets can cast specific spells/better ac ?)
Banshees need HPs boost :)
Help files says: “With each additional point of undead control equipment, the necromancer will notice his summoned beings growing in size. There are also many changes to the creatures abilities which are not easily seen.”
The only one thing I’ve noticed is pets miss less (more tohit) and thats all.
prac summon undead
summon undead - Lvl: 10, Mana: 16
help summon undead
Cost: 10 + variable amount per monster
Which one is incorrect? :)
Thanks
Thanks for sharing your data!
I’d been wondering about UC myself, and this clarifies a few things for me.
Now I don’t have to do the work myself. :)
I might be wrong but I have heard +UC adds +hitroll/damroll to pets as well..
undead control adds significantly to hitroll also. Test that one out too ;)

Thats what I said before :)
Maybe pets I use don’t have much dam and so I can’t notice it’s increase with UC gear. But pets miss less with UC. Though, it would be nice to see mana increase as well.
PS And extra ac, and more dam and hps :)
Correct one is, that without any necro houses up, summon undead costs 20 mana
