WE’RE NUMBER THREE!!!!!!!!! keep up the good work guys!

“amazing how you can do without the essentials of life, provide you have the little luxuries.” -paris –>pitch black

That threshhold mud is only a scant 5 votes ahead of us!

This is brutal. Let’s get back on the charts!!

  1. Dark and Shattered Lands (DSL) 871

  2. Wheel of Time 833

  3. Threshold RPG [b:2wk67pw1]469[/b:2wk67pw1][/color:2wk67pw1]

down to 4th now..

bump

what little lead we gained, we are now giving back.. holding on to 3rd by only 3 votes atm, and closing fast…

don’t slack off, #4 still right on our heels, and hey, pick up the pace a bit and we might catch number 2 spot.. certainly been closing the gap there, good stuff!

:)

  1. Dark and Shattered Lands (DSL) 1508

  2. Wheel of Time 933

  3. SlothMUD III 886

  2. SlothMUD III 942

  3. Wheel of Time 937

  4. Threshold RPG 910

go for top ranking now :)

Ok, looks like someone lit a fire under Threshhold’s butt, because they are shooting up teh rankings, and in a little over 1 day have climbed from more than 50 votes behind us, to under 20 (and taken #3 spot in the process) ..best we get voting, or prepare to be dropped to #3 again ..and Wheel of Time haven’t yet hit the panic button since we passed them recently either…

  1. Dark and Shattered Lands (DSL) … 1886

  2. SlothMUD III … 1147

  3. Threshold RPG … 1128

  4. Wheel of Time … 955

There’s been quite a few virgin noobs logging on recently, so it’s clearly worth the effort to vote to help (re)grow our player base.

Definitely, it’s actually quite amazing to watch how clearly the rate of new players fluctuates with our TMC ranking.

We are only a few votes from losing 2nd. Keep voting!

Hey - you’re here! Why not make it a habit to just click that vote button while you’re checking out the latest Random Pic/Vid?

We’re only 12 votes from our 3rd place competition and your click counts!

Ok, we’re only 8 votes ahead of third place. Time to rack up those votes!!

  4. Threshold RPG - 1747

No idea who these ‘3-Kingdoms’ people are, but they’ve shot up the list faster than anyone else - they jumped from obscurity to 300 votes behind us, and in the last 3 days have closed that gap to just 4 votes, and Threshhold as usual right on our heels at 9 votes behind us. More than just a little suspicious how this 3-Kingdoms mud have raced up the rankings in a matter of days.. but hey, I guess anyone can use proxy sites to vote…

  2. 3-Kingdoms - 1839 <—

I wonder how 3-Kingdoms gets any players. I tried making a character their and it kept asking me for a valid email addy…every time I entered one, it kept asking me for a valid….

oh well.. I’ll just vote 40-50 times and get us up there

guys we’re slipping! we held on to the number two slot for a long time and have fallen down to number 4. VOTE!

“the first amendment gives us the right to say what we want” -heather –> scary movie

keep slipping. i’m lovin it.

Apologies. It has come to our attention that TMC strictly

forbids the use of player incentives for position on their

top list.

Again, we are sorry for not having more closely read the

rules and must withdraw the offer of the half-reset boot

should we attain top-10 on their list.

Instead, please vote anyway with the knowledge that if

we do get in the top 10 we believe it will garner extra

player base and a generally better mud experience for

everyone involved.

Thank you.

Mortals of The Three Kingdoms,

In pursuit of our continous goal of growing the population of our community

we are opening an additional non VAF related contest.

If Three Kingdoms can rise to the top 10 list on mudconnector.com

there will be a 2 day half-reset boot as a reward for all! Each

player can vote one time per day (per IP). There is a link on the Center

of Town (http://forums.3k.org) or you can vote directly using

the link below.

While there is no obligation to participate, growing 3K is in everyone’s

best interest. A large and viable community is essential to our

longevity and morale. Significant effort has been spent to

improve the newbie experience here, lets work together to spread the

word and bring more players to their new home!

Heh, I like this part:

[quote:1am8k21r]Each player can vote one time per day (per IP).[/quote:1am8k21r]

Also, apparently 3K aren’t as generous with fast repop days as we are :)

Pity that they got their playerbase interested in voting though, will be interesting to see how many of their players will stop voting without promise of a reward.

Has anyone emailed this to TMC.. or is that why there was a reset recently?
