Meditatorium

The atmosphere in this small room is full of dust, which renders

breathing difficult and gives the meditatorium an oneiric quality. The

chamber has been upholstered with steel plates as if to make sure nothing

and nobody intrudes (or escapes from) the tiny room. A glowing orb floats

inches beneath the ceiling, casting the area in a mass of flickering light.

A rocking-chair, its gnarled oaken skis quietly creaking, moves back and

forth by a small table, upon which a book sits. All in all, this place

is a congruous environment for reading and research.

Exits: Up

The codex of demonic destruction is chained to the table, ready to be read.

read codex

How careless of you to have triggered one of wizard Bomanz’s warding spells!

A flash of blinding light follows this sad mistake of yours, and the codex disappears.

Ah, FUN! That’s SO F@-ck-In hilarious to start again with all this crap for the third time. mabbe I do something wrong with this codex?

BTW, you can (or used to be able to) continue the reading even after it poofs :) Just make sure u dont stop due to eating, etc.

Madmax

I didn’t even start to read, both times it flew away w/o any reading.

Did it a long time ago - after 3 consecutive ‘fly aways’ or whatever, Rita (I think it was Rita at the time) came and checked it out and created it a few more times.. and it poofed a few more times, then finally was able to read it.. actually I was able to read it full and I think one other person ..or perhaps one other full and another 50% learned before it took off. Something pretty badly wrong when a forge seems to have like an 80% poof rate though. Personally I think it shouldn’t fly away at all after having completed the mission to even get to that point…
