Per request from Neptune. How about selling a potion that will fix a players alignment 500 points in either direction?
that sidelines the whole alignment aspect in exchange for gold. I don’t think it’s a good idea.
I am willing to make cloud giants and irapuete mobs very evil and some others here and there. Currently cloud giants are only ever-so-slightly evil. I assume the issue is that it’s hard to get good-aligned on lyme? Is anyone going to moan if suddenly a mob is more evil than before?
No complaints if you made it a bit easier to get good align on Lyme. But it’s not that hard to change align either way on Lyme. Off Lyme takes some experience and asking around.
WRT potions, it’s not that hard to pop potion of evil/good intentions in Coliseum. They are also frequently sold off in the Alchemist shops.

Just because someone is ok with one of your ideas doesn’t mean they want you do advocate it as if it were their idea.
My opinion is not a veto because I don’t get a veto. That’s for the creators. I’m expressing my opinion that the need for alignment should not be obviated for gold. I’m also the one who nerfed the restoration potions in CG bakery because gold should not be a substitute for hit points either.
I’m not completely opposed or I wouldn’t have put the alignment potions in the coliseum, which can be popped and bought / sold. But to make such a thing available all the time would be like simply removing alignment from the game for those who can afford it.
Please don’t ever quote me in the manner you’ve just quoted Neptune. If it were me, I’d have deleted it and asked you not to speak on my behalf.
